Technip Energies is seeking a Pipeline Engineer - ArcGIS Specialist based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
The role reports to the Head of Department and works operationally with the Lead Designer or Lead Engineer and functionally with the Pipeline Discipline Head.
Qualifications and profile
- A degree or diploma in Geo-Informatics Engineering or Geo-Information Systems is required.
- Sound working experience with ArcGIS and AutoCAD is required.
- At least seven years of pipeline design experience in onshore and offshore projects is required, including at least five years in ArcGIS.
- Experience preparing pipeline routes in ArcGIS and obtaining pipeline ROW NOC approvals from statutory authorities is required.
- Knowledge of surveys and coordinate systems used for surveying is required.
- Experience in FEED and EPC projects is required.
- Two years of Gulf experience and knowledge of the ADNOC group Drawing Office Procedure are preferred.
- English proficiency at a basic, professional, or fluent level is listed.
Responsibilities
- Prepare assigned drawings according to the applicable Drawing Office Procedure.
- Perform drafting tasks with little or no supervision and under pressure.
- Complete drawings within allotted man-hours and meet document deadlines.
- Check drawings for accuracy and completeness before final technical scrutiny.
- Document drawing prints for quality audits.
- Assist the lead designer as required.
- Perform onshore and offshore site visits.
