Purpose of position
Serve as Pilot in Command for a well-established Falcon 7X aircraft based at DuPage Airport in the Chicago area.
The account has three pilots and dedicated maintenance technician support and operates under Parts 91 and 135.
The position is not commutable and requires residence within driving distance of DuPage Airport.
Safe operation of flight
- Ensure crewing and trip assignments comply with company and regulatory requirements.
- Complete flight planning, performance, and weight and balance tasks.
- Lead risk briefings using the Threats, Plans and Considerations methodology.
- Follow company SOPs and act as Grounds Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator.
- Complete pre-flight tasks, review maintenance status, and record aircraft discrepancies.
- Monitor aircraft ground servicing, including fueling, oil, and oxygen.
- Conduct passenger briefings and meet special passenger needs.
