Role Overview
Supervise and coordinate piling and foundation activities at site in accordance with approved drawings, method statements, specifications, and project requirements.
The role covers crew supervision, equipment coordination, quality records, safety, productivity, and daily progress reporting.
Piling and Foundation Execution
- Manage bored piles, CFA piles, driven piles, micropiles, secant or contiguous piles, and shoring works as applicable.
- Verify pile location, diameter, depth, verticality, and cut-off level using approved drawings and survey setting-out.
- Monitor drilling, bore depth, soil conditions, casing installation, and bentonite or polymer slurry use where applicable.
- Ensure bore cleaning before reinforcement cage installation and concreting.
- Supervise reinforcement cage fabrication, lifting, installation, tremie pipe placement, and continuous concrete placement.
Site Coordination and Reporting
- Supervise piling crews, rig operators, welders, helpers, crane operators, and other site personnel.
- Coordinate deployment of piling rigs, cranes, excavators, concrete pumps, and other equipment.
- Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Engineers, Surveyors, QA/QC Engineers, Safety Officers, subcontractors, and concrete suppliers.
