Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, or DPT, or Master's in Physical Therapy (entry level)
- Current, valid license to practise Physiotherapy (home country or Qatar)
- Minimum 4 years post qualifying experience
- Expertise in assessment of complex presentations
- Expertise in formation and implementation of goal orientated treatment plans
- Evidence of appropriate continued professional development
- Proficiency in standardized outcome measure testing

Job Summary
- As an autonomous practitioner and key multi disciplinary team member, the physiotherapist will provide specialist, holistic assessment and goal orientated treatment.
- Utilize a broad range of physiotherapeutic techniques to promote health and well being and maximize functional recovery.
- Manage own caseload of patients with complex medical and rehabilitative needs.
Job Responsibilities 1
- Provides specialist, critically reasoned and holistic, physiotherapeutic assessments for inpatients and outpatients.
- Provides goal orientated, evidence based and clinically reasoned treatment plans.
- Provides effective and safe patient (and family) education.
- Takes an active role within the development of the Rehabilitation services.
Job Responsibilities 2
- Manages own time and caseload.
- Demonstrates specialised therapeutic moving and handling skills.
- Acts as a key figure within the Hospital in provision of specialist knowledge.
- Adheres to all departmental and facility wide policies and procedures.
Job Knowledge & Skills
- Diploma/ or Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy/ or DPT/ or Master’s in Physical Therapy.
- Current, valid license to practise Physiotherapy.
- Expertise in assessment of complex presentations.
- Expertise in formation and implementation of goal orientated treatment plans.
- Hydrotherapy experience (desired).
- Evidence of appropriate continued professional development.
- Expertise in manual therapies, movement therapies, electrotherapy treatments.
- Proficiency in standardized outcome measure testing.
- Knowledge of technological and robotic advances (desired).
- Expertise in evidence based practice.
- Previous experience working in a multi disciplinary care team.
Job Experience
- Minimum 4 years post qualifying experience.
- For Qatari Nationals, Qatar Universities graduates, offspring of Qatari women or offspring of residents, training period of one year under supervision.
