About the Role
UrbaCon Contracting & Trading Company is seeking a Physical Therapist I to provide holistic physiotherapy assessments and goal-oriented treatment for inpatients and outpatients across orthopedics, neurology, and other specialties.

Responsibilities
- Provide holistic physiotherapeutic assessments for inpatients and outpatients with varying complexities
- Develop and implement goal orientated, evidence based treatment plans
- Provide patient and family education to assist in management and recovery
- Facilitate in service training for non therapy staff
- Manage own time and caseload, making appropriate referrals
- Demonstrate therapeutic moving and handling skills and advise on manual handling techniques
- Maintain clear and timely documentation of clinical records
- Adhere to departmental policies and infection control practices
- Undertake clinical and non clinical audit tasks
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in any related field
- Minimum 2 years post qualifying experience
- Expertise in assessment of complex presentations
- Expertise in goal orientated treatment plans
- Hydrotherapy experience
- Evidence of continued professional development
- Proficiency in standardized outcome measures
- Knowledge of technological and robotic advances
- Previous experience in multi disciplinary care team

Job Summary
- As an autonomous practitioner and key multi disciplinary team member, the physiotherapist will provide holistic assessment and goal orientated treatment through a patient centered model of care.
- Utilizing a broad range of physiotherapeutic techniques to promote health and wellbeing and maximize functional recovery.
Job Responsibilities 1
- Provides critically reasoned and holistic physiotherapeutic assessments for inpatients and outpatients.
- Provides goal orientated, evidence based treatment plans alone and in conjunction with an integrated team.
- Provides effective and safe patient (and family) education.
- Takes an active role within In Service training.
- Manages own time and caseload.
Job Responsibilities 2
- Demonstrates therapeutic moving and handling skills and gives specialist advice.
- Adheres to departmental and facility wide policies and procedures.
- Practises clear, concise, and timely documentation of clinical records.
- Takes responsibility of care and day to day maintenance of equipment.
- Maintains appropriate infection control practices.
- Undertakes clinical and non clinical audit tasks.
- Maintains and develops own knowledge and skills.
- Functions in accordance with national laws and regulations.
Job Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in assessment of complex presentations as a PT and within MDT setting.
- Expertise in formation and implementation of goal orientated treatment plans.
- Hydrotherapy experience.
- Evidence of appropriate continued professional development.
- Expertise in manual therapies, movement therapies, and electrotherapy treatments.
- Proficiency in administration of standardized outcome measure testing.
- Knowledge of technological and robotic advances in patient treatment.
- Expertise in application of evidence based practice.
- Previous experience working in a multi disciplinary care team.
Job Experience
- Minimum 2 years post qualifying experience.
- For Qatari Nationals, Qatar universities graduates, offspring of Qatari women or offspring of residents, they are required to complete a training period of one year under supervision of a licensed healthcare practitioner (Refer to DHP Circular No.24/2020).
- Broad post qualifying experience, preferably across multiple specialties.
