About the Role

- Provide critically reasoned and holistic physiotherapeutic assessments for inpatients and outpatients
- Provide goal orientated, evidence based treatment plans alone and with integrated team
- Provide effective and safe patient and family education
- Take active role within In Service training and facilitate training of non therapy staff
- Manage own time and caseload with awareness of therapy service limitations
- Demonstrate therapeutic moving and handling skills and give specialist advice
- Adhere to departmental and facility policies and procedures
- Maintain clear, concise, and timely documentation of clinical records
- Take responsibility for care and maintenance of equipment and working environment
- Maintain infection control practices and training
- Undertake clinical and non clinical audit tasks as assigned
- Maintain and develop own knowledge and skills through further learning
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in any related field
- Minimum 2 years post qualifying experience
- Expertise in assessment of complex presentations as a PT and within MDT setting
- Expertise in formation and implementation of goal orientated treatment plans
- Proficiency in administration of standardized outcome measure testing
- Knowledge of technological and robotic advances in patient treatment
- Previous experience working in a multi disciplinary care team

Job Summary
- As an autonomous practitioner and key multi disciplinary team member, the physiotherapist will provide holistic assessment and goal orientated treatment through a patient centered model of care.
- Utilizing a broad range of physiotherapeutic techniques to effectively promote health and wellbeing and maximize functional recovery.
- Provide high quality Physiotherapy services across Orthopedics and Rheumatology, Cardiac Rehabilitation, Musculoskeletal and Sports Medicine, Pain Management, Women’s Health, Neurology and Neurosurgery, Pediatrics.

- Takes responsibility of care and day to day maintenance of equipment and working environment.
- Maintains appropriate infection control practices and training.
- Undertakes clinical and non clinical audit tasks.
- Maintains and develops own knowledge and skills through further learning activities.
- Functions always in accordance with national laws and regulations.
Job Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in assessment of complex presentations as a PT and within MDT setting.
- Expertise in formation and implementation of goal orientated treatment plans.
- Hydrotherapy experience.
- Evidence of appropriate continued professional development.
- Expertise in set up, delivery, and after care of manual therapies, movement therapies, and electrotherapy treatments.
- Proficiency in administration of standardized outcome measure testing.
- Knowledge of technological and robotic advances in patient treatment.
- Expertise in application of evidence based practice.
- Previous experience working in a multi disciplinary care team.
Job Experience
- Minimum 2 years post qualifying experience.
- For Qatari Nationals, Qatar universities graduates, offspring of Qatari women or offspring of residents, they are required to complete a training period of one year under supervision of a licensed healthcare practitioner.
- Broad post qualifying experience, preferably across multiple specialties.
