About the Role
Dartmouth Health is seeking an Evening Operations Supervisor to supervise staff and workload in the inpatient pharmacy. This full-time evening shift position requires a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, 3+ years of pharmacist experience, and NH licensure.

Responsibilities
- Supervises day to day activities of Evening and Overnight Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians
- Serve as a liaison between the inpatient pharmacy and perioperative teams
- Participate in Manager On Call rotation
- Act as pharmacist in charge in the absence of pharmacy managers
- Helps to hire, train and evaluate Pharmacy Department staff
- Schedules staff and ensures appropriate staff coverage
- Assists in the development and administration of departmental policies and procedures
- May prepare and dispense medication orders per physician request
- Ensures safe, appropriate, cost effective medication therapies
- Detects and reports suspected adverse drug reactions
- Sustains the formulary by minimizing non formulary procurements
- Provides clinical consultation and clarification to medical staff
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
- 3 years’ experience as a Pharmacist
- Graduate of an ACPE accredited school of Pharmacy with 3 years of health care system experience (of which 1 must be pharmacy supervisory experience), or the equivalent
- Current unrestricted NH Pharmacist licensure
- Board Certification in Specialty Pharmacy (CSP) within 3 years of hire in the Specialty Pharmacy
- BLS within 30 days of hire in the Retail or Specialty Pharmacy if required to administer immunizations

Overview
- Evening Operations Supervisor Supervises staff and work load in assigned, specialized shop/section of the department to ensure a safe and efficient operation.
- This is a Full Time, 40hr per week, benefitted position. Evening shift.
