Responsibilities
- Serve as the facility's Certified Designated Representative (CDR) as required by Florida Statutes Chapter 499
- Maintain active, full time, on site oversight of daily operations, including drug storage, handling, and distribution
- Ensure compliance with Florida DBPR, DEA regulations, and Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA)
- Oversee controlled substance procedures, inventory management, and recordkeeping
- Maintain accurate documentation for audits, inspections, and regulatory reporting
- Develop and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to pharmaceutical distribution
- Serve as primary contact for all state inspections and regulatory agencies
- Train staff on compliance, handling protocols, and regulatory updates
- Monitor discrepancies, investigate issues, and implement corrective actions
Requirements
- Active Pharmacist license in good standing (strongly preferred)
- Must obtain or hold Florida Certified Designated Representative (CDR) license
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable full time experience in pharmacy setting or pharmaceutical wholesale distribution in a managerial role
- Ability to pass the Florida CDR Laws & Rules Examination (minimum score 75%)
- Must undergo fingerprinting and background check as part of licensure
- Must be actively involved in daily operations and physically present during normal business hours

Position Overview
- Monster Dental Supply is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to serve as our Certified Designated Representative (CDR) in the State of Florida.
- This is a full time, on site leadership role responsible for ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations governing the wholesale distribution of prescription drugs and devices.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the facility’s Certified Designated Representative (CDR) as required by Florida Statutes Chapter 499
- Maintain active, full time, on site oversight of daily operations, including drug storage, handling, and distribution
- Ensure compliance with: Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation (DBPR), DEA regulations, Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA)
- Oversee controlled substance procedures, inventory management, and recordkeeping
- Maintain accurate documentation for audits, inspections, and regulatory reporting
- Develop and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to pharmaceutical distribution

Florida CDR Requirements (Required Qualifications)
- Active Pharmacist license in good standing (strongly preferred)
- Must obtain or hold Florida Certified Designated Representative (CDR) license
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable full time experience in one of the following: Pharmacy setting (with prescription drug recordkeeping), OR Pharmaceutical wholesale distribution in a managerial role
- Ability to pass the Florida CDR Laws & Rules Examination (minimum score 75%)

- Must be actively involved in daily operations and physically present during normal business hours
- May serve as CDR for only one facility at a time
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in dental, medical, or pharmaceutical distribution
- Strong knowledge of Florida Chapter 499 and wholesale drug distribution laws
- Prior experience with DEA compliance and audits
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills
