Responsibilities
- Perform professional grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, clipping, de shedding, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and styling for dogs and cats
- Assess pets' coat and skin condition and recommend suitable grooming services
- Handle pets with care, patience, and compassion while maintaining a calm and safe environment
- Monitor pets for signs of illness, injury, or skin conditions and report concerns to management
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of grooming tools, equipment, and work areas
- Communicate professionally with pet owners regarding grooming requirements and aftercare recommendations
- Keep accurate grooming records and appointment details
- Follow company policies and animal welfare standards
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience as a Pet Groomer
- Experience grooming different dog and cat breeds
- Knowledge of breed specific grooming styles and coat care
- Ability to safely handle pets of various sizes and temperaments
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods
- Basic English communication skills
