Responsibilities
- Safely handle and restrain dogs and cats during examinations and treatments
- Assist veterinarians and veterinary nurses during procedures
- Feed, walk, clean, and monitor hospitalized animals
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kennels, cages, and clinic areas
- Help with lifting and transporting animals when required
- Assist with general clinic duties and maintain a clean, organized work environment
- Ensure the highest standards of animal care and welfare at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience as Pet Handler, Veterinary Assistant, Kennel Assistant, or similar role
- Confident in handling dogs and cats of different breeds and temperaments
- Physically fit and able to handle medium to large animals
- Good communication skills in English
- Able to work flexible shifts including weekends and public holidays
- Reliable, hardworking, and passionate about animal care
- Immediate availability is an advantage
