Pest Control Technician

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections at villas, apartments, offices, restaurants, and commercial properties.
• Perform indoor and outdoor general pest-control treatments.
• Treat cockroaches, ants, rodents, mosquitoes, flies, bed bugs, and other pests.
• Perform manhole treatment, outdoor fogging, garden spraying, and perimeter treatment.
• Identify pest activity, entry points, nesting areas, and infestation sources.
• Prepare service reports, treatment records, and customer recommendations.
• Use pesticides, treatment equipment, and personal protective equipment safely.
• Follow Dubai Municipality regulations, company safety procedures, and customer-site requirements.
• Explain preparation, safety precautions, and follow-up recommendations to customers.
• Maintain tools, equipment, vehicle stock, chemicals, and service materials.
• Support scheduled jobs, emergency callouts, and follow-up visits.

Mandatory Requirements

• Hold a valid Dubai Municipality-approved Pest Control Operator or Technician Card.
• Have at least two years of pest-control technician experience in Dubai or the UAE.
• Have practical experience in general pest control, cockroach control, rodent control, bed bug treatment, and flying-insect control.
• Know safe chemical handling, dilution, application methods, and personal protective equipment.
• Be able to work independently and manage daily assigned jobs.
• Have good communication and customer-handling skills.
• Be able to speak and understand English; Hindi, Urdu, or Arabic is advantageous.
• Be physically fit and willing to work at residential, commercial, outdoor, and manhole locations.
• Be available to join immediately or within a short notice period.

Preferred Requirements

• A UAE driving licence is advantageous.
• Experience with fogging, ULV treatment, steaming, heat treatment, and outdoor spraying is preferred.
• Experience with Dubai Municipality reporting or pest-control documentation is preferred.
• Experience with villa, restaurant, hotel, office, or facility-management pest control is preferred.
• Knowledge of integrated pest management and prevention methods is preferred.

Pay

• Pay is AED 1,500 to AED 3,000 per month.

Work Location

• Work is performed in person across residential, commercial, outdoor, and other customer sites.
