Role Overview
The employer is seeking a qualified and experienced Pest Control Technician.
The role serves restaurants, schools, hospitals, and commercial facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct pest control operations in compliance with ADQCC and municipality standards.
- Inspect premises to identify infestations and determine suitable treatment methods.
- Apply pesticides safely and effectively according to labels and safety protocols.
- Maintain service reports, treatment details, and chemical usage logs.
- Explain procedures to clients and provide preventive advice.
- Maintain equipment and follow safety standards.
Requirements
- A valid ADQCC Pest Control Technician Certificate is mandatory.
- At least 2 years of pest control experience is required.
- Knowledge of pest identification, treatment methods, and Integrated Pest Management practices is required.
- The candidate must be physically fit and able to work independently or in a team.
- The role may require night, day, or multiple shifts.
- Good English communication and reporting skills are required.
- Experience in food establishments, schools, and healthcare environments is preferred.
