Pest Control Technician

Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Assess properties for pest activity and identify pest types.
• Determine treatment plans in coordination with on-site staff.
• Implement preventive and corrective pest control measures.
• Advise property managers on best practices and document findings and treatments.
• Schedule inspections and communicate with clients and internal teams remotely.
• Provide guidance on sanitation, structural improvements, and lawn care to minimize pest risks.
• Follow applicable safety and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with real estate and maintenance teams to support healthy, safe, and compliant properties.

Qualifications

• Possess skills in pest control and Integrated Pest Management, including treatment and prevention strategies.
• Possess skills in PEST analysis or similar environmental assessment approaches relevant to property management.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills for reporting, remote collaboration, and client education.
• Possess lawn care and basic grounds maintenance skills.
• Relevant pest control or public health certifications or licenses are highly beneficial.
• Experience in residential or commercial real estate and familiarity with safety standards are preferred.
• Work independently, manage schedules, and use digital tools for documentation and communication.
• Demonstrate attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and environmental responsibility.
