Metro Bank is seeking a People Technology and Data Manager within its HR team.
The role shapes how people systems are configured, governed and used while leading people technology and AI transformation.
The position delivers reporting, dashboards and insights that support decisions and improve colleague experience.
What you will do
- Lead end-to-end people technology projects, managing scope, plans, governance, resources, risks, issues and dependencies.
- Translate business requirements into technical needs and support solution design and issue resolution.
- Lead configuration across People Systems, including Workday, with accuracy and governance.
- Guide junior analysts and delegate routine transactions and non-complex configuration updates.
- Create dashboards, analytics and data models and maintain reporting frameworks for data integrity and insight generation.
- Support releases, testing cycles and continuous improvement to ensure system stability and accuracy.
- Design approved AI-enabled people solutions using automation, generative AI and workflow optimisation.
- Use agile delivery methods for AI and transformation initiatives and promote digital adoption.
- Support enterprise-wide transformation, align roadmaps across PELCO and drive insight-led improvement.
- Maintain risk, AI and data governance, data quality and compliance across people-related digital initiatives.
