About the Role
Voxel is seeking a People Operations Manager to own and scale core people infrastructure, including onboarding, compensation, benefits, performance management, and HR systems. The role partners with leadership and Finance to ensure compliance and a strong employee experience in a high-growth startup.

Responsibilities
- Own the full employee lifecycle, ensuring every stage is seamless, compliant, and reflective of Voxel's culture and values
- Continuously improve onboarding and offboarding programs that accelerate productivity and foster connection
- Serve as the owner of the HRIS (Rippling), ensuring accurate employee data, organizational structures, scalable workflows, and reporting
- Maintain compensation frameworks, including salary bands and equity guidelines
- Lead the company's performance management process, including mid year and annual cycles
- Manage employee lifecycle changes, including promotions, transfers, and restructurings
- Own Voxel's employee benefits programs, including broker and third party administrator relationships
- Develop and maintain people analytics and reporting to provide leadership with insights
- Ensure HR policies, processes, and practices remain compliant with federal, state, and local employment laws
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in People Operations, HR, or a related role in a high growth startup or similar fast paced environment
- Strong operational depth across core HR functions including onboarding, benefits administration, performance management, and HR systems
- Experience owning or closely managing HRIS platforms (Rippling experience strongly preferred)
- Familiarity with compensation structures, leveling frameworks, and equity programs in a startup environment
- Strong analytical skills with experience building or maintaining people metrics, reporting, or workforce dashboards
- Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive employee situations with discretion, consistency, and good judgment
- Strong understanding of US employment law and compliance fundamentals across multi state environments
- Proven ability to improve and scale processes in environments with ambiguity and rapid change
- High attention to detail with a bias toward operational excellence and follow through
- Strong communication skills with the ability to partner effectively across leadership, Finance, and functional teams

- Develop and maintain people analytics and reporting to provide leadership with insights on headcount, hiring, compensation, retention, and workforce trends
- Ensure HR policies, processes, and practices remain compliant with federal, state, and local employment laws
Qualifications

Compensation Range
- $115K $125K
