About the Role
Deciphex is looking for a People Operations Generalist to own the full employee lifecycle and provide first-line HR support. The role covers onboarding, offboarding, HR systems, employee relations, compliance, and performance management.

Responsibilities
- Own the full employee lifecycle from offer to leaver
- Design, run, and continuously improve onboarding and induction process
- Manage employment changes, promotions, team moves, and performance review documentation
- Maintain accurate people data in BambooHR and manage workflows in ClickUp
- Own employment documentation end to end across multiple jurisdictions
- Generate people reports on headcount, turnover, absence
- Serve as first point of contact for day to day employee relations
- Manage absence and statutory leave proactively
- Act as Health & Safety point of contact, attend audits, ensure compliance
- Review and update HR policies across jurisdictions
- Support performance review cycle and probation tracking
- Contribute to wellbeing, DEI, and culture initiatives
Requirements
- Degree in HR, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience
- At least 3 4 years of genuine ownership of People Operations work
- Current and solid employment law knowledge for UK & Ireland
- Fluent in HRIS systems and comfortable with HR technology
- Experience handling a wide range of initial people ops queries independently
- Sound judgement and documentation skills for employee relations
- Ability to juggle competing priorities and work autonomously
- Detail conscious and naturally curious
- High tolerance for ambiguity and low tolerance for unnecessary processes
