Role Purpose

The People & Culture Specialist will be the face of HR for employees at the Abu Dhabi head office.

The role combines operational HR delivery with employee engagement and relationship-building to create a supportive, people-first work environment.

Employee Welfare and Engagement

  • Design and run surveys, feedback loops, wellness programs, recognition schemes, and other engagement initiatives.
  • Act as a trusted contact for employee concerns, grievances, and welfare needs.
  • Build rapport across levels and organize team-building activities, town halls, and culture-building events.

Onboarding and Orientation

  • Own the end-to-end orientation experience for new joiners.
  • Coordinate induction schedules, documentation, and cross-department introductions.
  • Gather new-hire feedback to improve the onboarding journey.

HR Calendar and Operations

  • Prepare and maintain the annual HR calendar covering engagement events, appraisal cycles, training, compliance deadlines, and UAE public holidays.
  • Communicate HR events and deadlines to employees and management.

Performance Management Support

  • Coordinate appraisal timelines, templates, submissions, and manager or employee feedback.
  • Assist managers in setting performance goals and delivering constructive feedback.
  • Maintain accurate performance records according to company policy and UAE Labour Law requirements.

Stakeholder and Management Liaison

  • Bridge employees and management by surfacing concerns and translating leadership priorities into employee initiatives.
  • Partner with department heads on workforce planning, culture initiatives, and people-related decisions.
  • Report to management on engagement metrics and welfare initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3–6 years of HR generalist experience, ideally with employee-relations or engagement exposure.
  • Knowledge of UAE Labour Law and MOHRE processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills for calendars, appraisal cycles, and multiple stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus.
  • Based in or willing to relocate to Abu Dhabi.
