Role overview

The People Advisor is part of the Global People Team and collaborates with Business and Regional People Partners.

The role supports talent strategy, employee relations, HR processes, and people initiatives across the Middle East and Asia Pacific.

The role requires knowledge of local employment legislation and company policies, as well as proactive partnership with People Partners.

Responsibilities

  • Advise employees and managers on HR policies and processes using legislative knowledge and best practice.
  • Support annual performance management and compensation planning, including timelines, communications, completion tracking, and quality assurance.
  • Build stakeholder relationships and coach team members and Talent Managers on team management and dynamics.
  • Manage low- to medium-complexity employee relations cases with stakeholders and the internal ER team.
  • Drive the annual People Engagement Survey and develop insights from completion data and results.
  • Conduct departing-employee interviews and analyze turnover data.
  • Identify improvements to policies, processes, and ways of working that enhance employee experience.
  • Provide analytics to improve engagement, performance, and attrition.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, People Operations, and Learning teams.
  • Support regional learning, development, wellbeing, and culture-building initiatives.
  • Monitor people trends, provide feedback, and identify potential HR risks.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of generalist HR experience in professional services or financial services.
  • Experience in matrix organizations with multiple lines of responsibility and reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of employment legislation across Middle East and/or APAC markets.
  • Ability to work across multiple geographies and time zones.
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business management, psychology, or a related field is preferred.
  • A local CIPD qualification is highly regarded.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, integrity, and discretion.
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, organizational, project management, risk management, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Cultural awareness and agility across diverse markets, leadership styles, and organizational cultures.
