About the Role
Milliken & Company is looking for an HVAC Technician to perform scheduled maintenance and troubleshooting on HVAC equipment at its Pendleton, SC plant. The role requires experience with mechanical and electrical systems, including HVAC units, chillers, and air handlers.

Responsibilities
- Complete regularly scheduled tasks on HVAC equipment throughout the plant
- Troubleshoot and solve issues with equipment plant wide
- Complete projects as assigned
- Maintain an accurate inventory of spare equipment
- Coordinate with contractors as needed during installations or major repairs
- Maintain regulatory records such as preventive maintenance and refrigerant log
Requirements
- Ability to read and write and follow directions
- Basic Math skills
- Understanding and troubleshooting of electrical (AC and DC) and control systems
- Understanding of HVAC equipment general functions
- Troubleshooting mechanical systems
- Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Knowledge of general safety procedures including proper PPE and 70e
- Ability to operate forklift, power tugger, and Hoist

General Description of Job Duties
- Complete regularly scheduled tasks on HVAC equipment throughout the plant.
- Assist in troubleshooting and solving issues with equipment plant wide.
- Complete projects as assigned.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC equipment including HVAC units, air handlers, air washers, chillers, panel AC units, and exhaust fans.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of spare equipment.
- Coordinate with contractors as needed during installations or major repairs.
- Maintain regulatory records such as preventive maintenance and refrigerant log.
Skill Requirements
- Ability to read and write and follow directions.
- Ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions.
- Basic Math (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
- Ability to operate forklift, power tugger, and Hoist.
- Ability to learn how to use computer system (MES).
- Good communication skills.
- Strong discipline.
- Understanding and troubleshooting of electrical (AC and DC) and control systems.
- Understanding of HVAC equipment general functions.
- Troubleshooting mechanical systems.
- Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Knowledge of general safety procedures including proper PPE and 70e.
General Requirements
- Basic written and communication skills.
- Must be able to hear power equipment operating in work area.
- Must be able to see clearly and pass pre employment drug screening.
