Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Provide neonatal nursing care according to the hospital discharge plan and treating physicians' instructions.
• Monitor the baby's health, respiratory status, feeding tolerance, medications, and recovery.
• Perform colostomy and stoma care, wound care, and postoperative monitoring.
• Administer medications accurately and maintain detailed clinical records.
• Support feeding with aspiration precautions and monitor developmental milestones.
• Maintain strict infection control standards.
• Coordinate with parents, doctors, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Respond appropriately to neonatal emergencies within professional scope.

Mandatory Requirements

• Registered Nurse qualification is required.
• Minimum five years of neonatal or pediatric nursing experience is required.
• Minimum two years of recent hands-on NICU experience is required.
• Experience with postoperative or medically complex newborns is required.
• Experience with colostomy or stoma care, neonatal medication administration, feeding support, and aspiration precautions is required.
• Infant CPR and Basic Life Support certification are required.
• DHA or DOH licence or eligibility to obtain one is required.
