Position Summary
A tertiary-care hospital in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced Consultant Pediatric Interventional Cardiologist.
The role provides advanced interventional cardiac care to neonates, infants, children, and adolescents with congenital and acquired heart disease.
The position also contributes to clinical excellence, research, and education.
Clinical Duties
- Perform pediatric cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures, including ASD, VSD, and PDA device closures.
- Perform balloon valvuloplasty, angioplasty, stenting, and complex congenital interventions.
- Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care for pediatric cardiac patients.
- Interpret echocardiography, ECG, Holter, and applicable cardiac CT/MRI imaging.
- Participate in multidisciplinary cardiac conferences and surgical planning.
- Provide on-call coverage for pediatric cardiac emergencies.
Leadership and Teamwork
- Collaborate with pediatric cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, intensivists, neonatologists, and allied health professionals.
- Contribute to departmental quality improvement, clinical governance, and protocol development.
