Rambus, a premier chip and silicon IP provider, is seeking to hire an exceptional System Validation Principal Engineer to join our CXL products business unit team.

Candidates will be joining some of the brightest inventors and engineers in the world to develop products that make data faster and safer.

The candidate needs to be deeply hands-on and self-motivated with strong technical leadership skills to execute system validation functions.

These include test infrastructure hardware/software development, test plan creation, and test plan execution.

The ideal candidate needs to possess system level validation experience of SoC devices with exposure to board level design considerations, system level silicon hardware and firmware integration, and system level validation test execution.

You will gain experience with high speed Serdes, CXL and DDR protocol validation and compliance, as well as system level testing of complex SoCs.

The role will provide leadership opportunity to work and mentor a growing team of system validation engineers.

Responsibilities

Leading lab silicon bring-up and validation of high-speed integrated SoC products
Developing test methodologies for validating silicon designs against industry and internal specifications
Developing scripts for device/system under test, lab equipment and system level stimulus control
Developing software for shared test automation and efficient lab data analysis
Working with silicon design and firmware teams to develop experiments, drive data collection, and present results analysis
Working closely with the characterization team to jointly solve Serdes and analog issues, integrating changes back into the SoC
Interacting extensively in a team environment with employees in other disciplines and geographies
