Role Overview
Wood seeks a Senior Project Engineer with 10 years of experience in Aramco Projects. The role involves project management, communication, and coordination of engineering deliverables. The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in mechanical, metallurgical, civil, or a related field.
Project Deliverables
- Contribute to the Project Execution Plan, Discipline Design Instruction, and Contract requisitions; prepare project plans and multi-discipline documents.
- Manage and coordinate engineering multidiscipline inputs and deliverables across multiple execution centers.
- Monitor and act on quality system deficiencies.
- Ensure HSE issues are identified and addressed in design, manufacture, construction, commissioning, and operations.
- Develop Project Specific Procedures.
- Assure quality of engineering deliverables before issue to customer.
- Chair technical meetings with Third Parties and manage particular technical issues through to completion.
- Plan individual work activities and manage time; liaise with disciplines to ensure timely receipt of comments.
- Input to work plan, set targets, and hold regular reviews.
- Expedite Engineers to deliver to schedule, fully understand reasons for delay, and drive development of recovery plans.
- Resolve most delays or changes and escalate only most serious issues.
- Supervise work of technical professionals in the delivery of engineering deliverables including checking work.
