(PD) Senior Product Designer, Chat Experience

About the Opportunity

What You Will Do

• Drive experience innovation for socially driven and interaction-heavy features.
• Partner with product managers, researchers, and engineers to define problems and deliver user-centered solutions.
• Create wireframes, user flows, journey maps, high-fidelity mockups, interactive prototypes, and evaluative research.
• Collaborate with UX Research, UX Writing, Brand, and Product leadership on the design vision.
• Elevate design quality through feedback, formal design reviews, presentations, and design thinking workshops.

What We Look For

• Experience designing consumer-facing chat experiences or instant messaging platforms and features.
• Experience designing chat, social, or user-to-user interaction features.
• Deep expertise in visual and user interface design with strong attention to detail.
• Ownership, initiative, curiosity, and a growth mindset.
• Strong critical thinking and design judgment across micro-interactions and complete user journeys.
• At least three years of cross-functional design experience at a technology company shipping end-to-end solutions.
• Strong communication skills and ability to advocate for design decisions.

Nice to Have

• Prototyping skills for communicating transitions or microinteractions.
• Familiarity with design systems and scaling visual consistency across platforms.
• Exposure to data-informed design, user insights, behavioral data, or A/B test results.
• Experience working across time zones with distributed teams.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant design discipline.
