Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position located in Abu Dhabi for a PCN PAUT Technician.
The technician will conduct phased array ultrasonic testing (PAUT) and maintain compliance with established quality standards.
Daily tasks include preparing testing equipment, performing calibrations, executing inspections, analyzing test results, and documenting findings.
The role will also involve ensuring safety measures and collaborating with relevant teams to maintain operational efficiency across sites.
Qualifications
- Competence in Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) and other advanced Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods
- Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to accurately analyze and report inspection results
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards and regulations
- Certification in PCN Level 2 for PAUT; additional certifications in other NDT methods are an advantage
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or diploma in a related field is preferred
- Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within the energy or gas sector, is beneficial
