Independently process accurate and timely payroll for salaried and hourly employees.
Calculate and review earnings, overtime, bonuses, taxable benefits, deductions, and retroactive adjustments.
Audit payroll data and payroll reports to ensure accuracy and compliance prior to payroll processing.
Maintain employee payroll information in ADP Workforce Now and related systems.
Ensure payroll transactions comply with federal and provincial legislation, company policies, and payroll standards.
Administer and reconcile payroll deductions.
Prepare and submit payroll remittances to government agencies and third-party providers on a timely basis.
Manage employee payroll inquiries and provide professional support regarding earnings, deductions, vacation balances, leaves, and payroll processes.
Prepare payroll reconciliations and support internal and external audits.
Coordinate year-end payroll activities, including balancing, reporting, T4 preparation, T4A preparation (where applicable), and year-end adjustments.
Support payroll system enhancements, process improvements, reporting, and compliance initiatives.
Maintain strict confidentiality of payroll and employee information.
