The employer is seeking a detail-oriented Payments & CRM Reconciliation Specialist for an online trading business.
The role reconciles CRM transactions with payment service providers, wallets, merchant accounts, and related records.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily reconciliation of all transactions recorded in the CRM.
- Cross-check CRM entries against PSP wallets, merchant accounts, payment accounts, and transaction statements.
- Reconcile deposits, withdrawals, refunds, chargebacks, fees, reversals, failed transactions, and other payment entries.
- Identify and investigate missing, duplicate, incorrectly recorded, unmatched, or balance-discrepant transactions.
- Maintain daily reports and accurate supporting documentation for audit and management purposes.
- Follow up with internal teams and PSP or account managers to resolve outstanding discrepancies.
- Monitor multiple PSP wallet and account balances for unusual movements or inconsistencies.
- Assist with month-end reconciliation and reporting and recommend process improvements.
Daily Reconciliation Process
- Review all relevant CRM transactions for the period.
- Compare each CRM transaction with the corresponding PSP wallet, account, and transaction records.
- Match transactions using identifiers such as transaction ID, reference number, amount, currency, date, customer, and payment status.
- Flag exceptions, investigate their causes, correct authorized records, and escalate unresolved issues.
- Prepare a daily summary showing overall reconciliation status and outstanding exceptions.
Requirements
- Previous experience in payments reconciliation, finance operations, accounting, transaction monitoring, or a similar role.
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills and ability to work with large transaction datasets.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills, and systematic working habits.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts, currencies, PSPs, and transaction sources accurately.
- Ability to investigate discrepancies independently, meet daily deadlines, and maintain confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in online trading, fintech, payments, e-commerce, brokerage, or another high-volume transaction environment.
- Experience with multiple PSPs and payment wallets.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, payment databases, reconciliation tools, BI or reporting systems, or accounting software.
- Advanced Excel knowledge including PivotTables, XLOOKUP or VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, conditional logic, and data validation.
Performance Measures
Performance is measured by daily reconciliation coverage, transaction-matching accuracy, unresolved discrepancy levels, and resolution speed.
Additional measures include balance accuracy, report timeliness, recurring-error prevention, and reconciliation documentation quality.

The role requires transaction-by-transaction investigation in a high-volume online trading and payments environment.
The specialist reports to the Finance or Payments Manager and works with Operations, Finance, Compliance, Customer Support, and PSP account-management teams.
