The Role
Part-time remote role combining payment administration, event hosting, retail-store assistance, customer service, and general operations support.
The role requires professionalism, accuracy, confidentiality, organization, and comfort with financial records and customer-facing work.
Payment Administration
- Process authorized payments, receipts, refunds, deposits, and routine financial transactions.
- Verify transaction details and supporting documents, enter data into business systems, and reconcile records.
- Maintain payment logs, prepare reports, identify discrepancies, and escalate suspicious or significant issues.
- Follow financial controls, fraud-prevention requirements, authorization procedures, and data-protection standards.
Event Support
- Welcome guests, customers, VIPs, speakers, exhibitors, suppliers, and event participants.
- Assist with registration, check-in, guest lists, invitations, badges, seating, directions, and venue information.
- Coordinate with event managers, venue staff, security, catering, technical teams, photographers, suppliers, and production personnel.
- Support event setup, guest flow, session transitions, attendance records, post-event activities, and venue checks.
