Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient appointments, consultations, diagnostic investigations, treatments, and follow up visits
- Guide patients throughout their treatment journey ensuring a positive patient experience
- Coordinate referrals to specialists, hospitals, laboratories, and radiology centers
- Register patients accurately in the EMR system and maintain confidential records
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits, obtain pre authorizations

Job Summary
- The Patient Care Coordinator coordinates the patient's healthcare journey from appointment booking through treatment completion and follow up.
- Ensures a seamless patient experience while maintaining full compliance with DHA, SHA, MOHAP, and UAE healthcare regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient appointments, consultations, diagnostic investigations, treatments, and follow up visits.
- Guide patients throughout their treatment journey while ensuring a positive patient experience.
- Coordinate referrals to specialists, hospitals, laboratories, and radiology centers.
- Ensure continuity of care by maintaining communication between all healthcare providers.
- Monitor pending investigations, referrals, and treatment plans.
- Register patients accurately in the EMR system.
- Verify patient identity and demographic information.
- Maintain complete, accurate, and confidential patient records.
- Ensure documentation complies with DHA/SHA standards and facility policies.
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits.
- Obtain pre authorizations for consultations, procedures, investigations, and surgeries.
- Coordinate with insurance companies regarding approvals and claim requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Healthcare Administration, Hospital Administration, Nursing, Allied Health, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a healthcare facility within the UAE.
- Experience in DHA, SHA, or MOHAP licensed healthcare facilities preferred.
