Overview
Performs basic patient transport task.
Assists in the daily functioning of the department in support of patient care.
Essential Responsibilities And Duties
- Supports the provision ofsafe, patient and family focused quality care.
- Accompanies, transports andtransfers patients and patient related items (chart, medication, etc.) asrequired.
- Assistsand helps patient in transporting patients to different areas safely.
- Follows established telephoneetiquette. Seeks assistance where appropriate.
- Adheres to the Employee Codeof Conduct. Maintains confidently at all time.
- Promotes a safe environmentand safe patient care by embracing a safety culture and identifying areas ofrisk to Supervisor.
- Floats to, and covers otherareas as assigned.
- Contributes to patientsatisfaction by responding to requests in a timely manner.
- Collects, organizes, archivesand fillies documents periodically as needed.
- Follows the chain of commandin reporting incidents or concerns.
