Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Pastry Head Chef to join our team on-site at our Ajman location.
The Pastry Head Chef will be responsible for overseeing all bread, bakery, and pastry production, ensuring consistent quality and innovation.
Day-to-day responsibilities include menu planning, supervising kitchen staff, sourcing fresh ingredients, maintaining inventory, and ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety regulations.
The Pastry Head Chef will also introduce new recipes and techniques to keep offerings fresh and appealing, while maintaining cost efficiency.
Qualifications
- Expertise in baking and pastry techniques, including experience with creating a variety of breads, desserts, and patisserie items.
- Proficiency in kitchen management, team leadership, staff training, and maintaining smooth kitchen operations.
- Strong skills in menu development, flavor pairing, and presentation to create innovative and visually appealing pastries.
- Thorough understanding of food safety, hygiene standards, and inventory management processes.
- Passion for delivering high-quality, customer-centric culinary experiences.
- Ability to manage time effectively and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- A formal culinary degree or equivalent relevant experience in pastry arts is preferred.
- Previous experience in a leadership role within a pastry or bakery setting is highly desirable.
