Role Description
The Pastry Demi Chef de Partie is a full-time, on-site role based in Doha.
The role prepares, bakes, and finishes pastries and desserts according to brand standards and recipes.
The position supports the Pastry Chef and collaborates with kitchen and service teams during operations.
Responsibilities
- Complete mise en place and operate baking equipment safely.
- Monitor pastry ingredient stock and maintain proper storage and hygiene practices.
- Support menu development, test new recipes, coordinate production schedules, and train junior team members.
- Work with the kitchen brigade and service teams to deliver pastry items efficiently during service.
Qualifications
- Strong pastry and baking skills, including doughs, creams, chocolate work, and plated desserts.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, handling, storage, and labeling of pastry ingredients.
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain consistency in quality and presentation.
- Professional pastry kitchen experience is preferred, especially in high-volume or premium food and beverage operations.
- Collaborative ability, communication skills, and time-management skills are required.
