About the Role
Charlottine Cafe is seeking a Pastry Commis Chef to assist in preparing pastries, desserts, and breads. The role requires 1-2 years of pastry experience, basic baking knowledge, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
- Assist in preparation of pastries, desserts, breads, and basic bakery items
- Perform mise en place including weighing, mixing, and basic baking tasks
- Follow standard recipes and portion control guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness of pastry workstations, tools, and equipment
- Store ingredients properly and label items according to food safety standards
- Support Pastry Commis 1 and Chef de Partie – Pastry during service
Requirements
- 1–2 years experience in pastry or bakery section
- Basic knowledge of baking techniques and pastry ingredients
- Understanding of food hygiene and safety standards (HACCP)
- Ability to speak English well
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
- Team oriented with good communication skills

Requirements
- Can speak English well (preferred)
- Prior experience in a pastry kitchen or bakery is preferred
- Basic understanding of pastry techniques and ingredients
- Strong attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, and willingness to learn
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and maintain composure under pressure
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry moderate weights, and work with hot ovens and kitchen equipment
- 1–2 year experience in pastry or bakery section preferred
- Basic knowledge of baking techniques and pastry ingredients
- Understanding of food hygiene and safety standards (HACCP)
- Willingness to learn and work in a fast paced environment
- Team oriented with good communication skills
Compensation
- Pay: QAR3,200.00 QAR3,400.00 per month
