- Manage stock levels and coordinate with Purchasing Department

- At least 2 years of experience in a Pastry kitchen
- Experience in luxury hotels or fine dining environments is a plus

About the Role
- The Pastry Chef supports the Head Pastry Chef in managing all aspects of the pastry section.
- Responsible for delivering high quality desserts and baked goods.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in menu planning, stock control, and overseeing food preparation.
- Supervise the pastry team to maintain smooth and efficient service.
- Oversee daily pastry related operations, ensuring quality and consistency in all desserts, baked goods, guest amenities and other pastry related items.
- Manage stock levels and coordinate with the Purchasing Department to ensure freshness and efficiency.
- Contribute to menu planning and recipe development.
- Focus on reducing waste, controlling costs, and maximizing profitability.
- Ensure the pastry operation runs smoothly and meets guest expectations.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety in the kitchen.
- Adhere to hygiene regulations and ensure equipment is properly maintained.
About You
- At least 2 years of experience in a Pastry kitchen and have a passion to grow.
- Experience in luxury hotels or fine dining environments is a plus.
- Can work part time, between 15 20 hours per week and are able to work in a dynamic, 24 hour operation.
