Pastry Chef

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake cakes, cookies, pastries, desserts, and other bakery items.
• Design and decorate cakes and pastries according to customer requirements.
• Develop new dessert recipes and seasonal menu items.
• Monitor inventory and order baking ingredients and supplies as needed.
• Maintain product quality, taste, and presentation standards.
• Keep the kitchen and baking equipment clean and organized.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
• Train and supervise junior pastry staff and bakery assistants.
• Manage production schedules for timely order delivery.
• Minimize food waste and control production costs.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Pastry Chef, Baker, or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of baking techniques, cake decoration, and dessert preparation.
• Creative and artistic skills for presenting desserts and cakes.
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Culinary or Pastry Arts certification is preferred.

Pay

• Pay is AED 1,500.00 to AED 5,000.00 per month.
