- Prepare and produce pastries, cakes, desserts, breads, and bakery items
- Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation
- Develop and update dessert and pastry offerings as required
- Monitor stock levels and assist in ordering pastry ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the pastry kitchen
- Ensure proper storage and handling of food products
- Minimize wastage and control food costs
- Follow food safety, HACCP, and company standards
- Train and support pastry team members when required
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Executive Chef
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
- Knowledge of pastry production, baking techniques, and dessert presentation
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Good teamwork and communication skills
