PASTRY & BAKERY CHEF

Role Description

Responsibilities

• Develop and test new recipes and contribute creative ideas for new products.
• Maintain consistent product quality, including taste, texture, and appearance.
• Organize ingredients, manage baking schedules, and oversee proper storage.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Train junior staff and support continuous improvement in bakery products.

Qualifications

• Strong practical experience in bakery and baking techniques, including pastries, breads, and related products.
• Creativity in recipe development, product innovation, and presentation of baked goods.
• Knowledge of hygiene standards and food safety practices in professional kitchen and production environments.
• Solid cooking skills and understanding of overall culinary processes.
• Previous Pastry Chef or Bakery Chef experience in a commercial or industrial setting, preferably in food manufacturing.
• Ability to manage multiple production tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills for collaboration with production, quality assurance, and management teams.
• Relevant culinary or bakery certification or diploma; additional pastry arts training is advantageous.
• Willingness to work on-site in Dubai and comply with local regulations and company policies.
