Ember Automotive is hiring a Parts Purchaser Officer to source and purchase genuine and aftermarket automotive parts for European and American luxury vehicles. The role requires negotiating with suppliers, managing purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery to support workshop operations.

Responsibilities
- Source OEM, genuine, and approved aftermarket parts for luxury vehicle brands.
- Obtain quotations from multiple suppliers to secure competitive pricing.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, discounts, and delivery schedules.
- Issue purchase orders and monitor order status until delivery.
- Ensure urgent vehicle repairs receive priority sourcing.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers.
- Evaluate supplier performance based on pricing, quality, availability, and delivery reliability.
- Resolve supplier disputes related to pricing, shortages, incorrect parts, or warranty claims.
- Work closely with Service Advisors, Technicians, and Workshop Managers to identify correct parts using VIN numbers, EPC systems, and manufacturer catalogs.
- Verify part compatibility before purchase.
- Coordinate with suppliers regarding superseded or alternative part numbers.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience in the UAE in similar car workshops working on European and American brands
- Strong knowledge of European and American luxury vehicles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read technical diagrams and use EPC systems
