Role overview
The Auto Parts Advisor and Parts Purchaser will manage the complete parts purchasing process for an automotive repair workshop.
The role covers identifying repair parts, sourcing and ordering, supplier coordination, price negotiation, cost control, and timely availability.
Workplace and employment
- The position is full-time.
- The work location is in person in Mussafah, Abu Dhabi.
Purchasing responsibilities
- Identify correct parts for vehicle repairs and source genuine, OEM, aftermarket, and replacement parts.
- Compare supplier quotations by price, quality, availability, and delivery time.
- Negotiate prices, discounts, payment terms, and delivery conditions.
- Maintain supplier relationships and develop reliable supplier networks.
- Coordinate parts requirements with workshop staff, technicians, estimators, service advisors, and management.
- Order parts on time and follow up on pending, back-ordered, and unavailable items.
- Verify delivered parts against requests, quotations, purchase orders, and invoices.
- Check part numbers, specifications, quantity, quality, and compatibility.
