Parkview Pet Center is a full-service veterinary clinic and pet services business based in Doha, Qatar, with approximately 40 to 50 employees.

The company is seeking an experienced Part-Time Accountant to provide immediate support to finance operations.

This is a hands-on position requiring independent management of routine accounting work and day-to-day financial processes.

The position reports directly to the Managing Director.

Maintain accurate accounting records in QuickBooks Online.
Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Record invoices, payments, expenses, refunds, and other transactions.
Prepare supplier payments with supporting documents and approvals.
Perform bank reconciliations and monitor supplier and customer balances.
Assist with payroll processing and reconciliation.
Import sales or transaction data into QuickBooks when required.
Reconcile sales and accounting records and investigate differences.
Maintain organized digital records of invoices, receipts, payments, and supporting documents.
Assist with month-end accounting and basic financial reports.
Follow up on missing documents and accounting information.
Highlight discrepancies or unusual transactions to management and provide general accounting support.

Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
Previous hands-on accounting experience.
Experience using QuickBooks Online or QuickBooks.
Experience with bank reconciliations, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
Good Microsoft Excel skills, attention to detail, and organization.
Ability to work independently and manage routine accounting tasks.
Good written and spoken English.
Currently based in Qatar.
Available to start immediately or within a short notice period.

Previous accounting experience in Qatar or the GCC.
Experience with payroll.
Experience importing data using CSV or Excel files.
Experience in healthcare, veterinary, retail, hospitality, or another service business.
Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CMA, or CA.

The role is approximately 20 to 25 hours per week.
Working days and hours can be discussed based on business requirements and candidate availability.
Some flexibility may be required during payroll, payment processing, and month-end.

The position is primarily on-site in Doha.
Pay is QAR 3,000 to QAR 4,000 per month.
The position is initially part-time, with a potential opportunity to transition to permanent full-time employment.
