The position assists Court employees with routine hardware, software, application, peripheral, and connectivity issues; assists with workstation and equipment deployment and maintenance; maintains technology inventories and documentation; and supports routine IT projects and system administration activities.
This position requires technical aptitude, attention to detail, sound judgment, professionalism, confidentiality, and the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical users. Associate degree in information technology, computer science, cybersecurity, information systems, or a closely related field preferred; or an equivalent combination of relevant education, technical training, certifications, and experience.
CompTIA A+ or CompTIA Network+ certification.
Previous experience providing computer, help-desk, desktop-support, or comparable technical assistance preferred.
Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 applications.
Familiarity with computer hardware, printers, peripherals, basic networking concepts, and common troubleshooting practices.
Experience in a court, governmental, legal, public-sector, or similarly regulated environment is desirable but not required.
A successful candidate must satisfy all lawful pre-employment requirements applicable to the position, which may include:
Verification of identity and authorization to work in the United States;
Criminal-history and security-related background screening appropriate for access to Court facilities, systems, and information;
Any other lawful, job-related pre-employment requirements established by the Court.
Because the position may have access to Court computer systems and confidential, security-sensitive, or nonpublic information, continued employment requires compliance with Court confidentiality, cybersecurity, information-security, acceptable-use, and access-control requirements.
This is a nonunion, at-will position.
