As an Educator, you’ll work directly with kids — leading activities, facilitating a safe and structured environment, and building relationships — while gaining valuable experience in education and child development.

Pay Rate: $15–$17 per hour (based on education and experience)
Program Hours: After School: 3:00 PM–6:00 PM (must be able to work Monday through Friday). Unable to accommodate partial work week shifts at this time. NO WEEKENDS!

Greet and check in students at the start of each session; take attendance and maintain accurate records
Plan and lead daily activities, games, and enrichment lessons appropriate for the age group you’re working with
Facilitate homework time and support with academic tasks as needed

Address minor conflicts or behavior issues using positive guidance techniques
Communicate with parents/guardians at pick-up and drop-off regarding their child’s day
Report incidents, injuries, or safety concerns to your Program Manager or site lead promptly; log incident reports
Set up and clean up program space and materials each day
Attend brief daily team meetings to coordinate with other staff

At least six months of experience working with children under 13 (preferred) in a licensed childcare center or school setting
Comfortable leading groups of children in activities and games
Outstanding customer service and communication skills with both children and adults
Reliable and punctual; able to commit to a consistent part-time schedule
Ability to lift 25 lbs and stand, walk, bend, and kneel throughout a shift
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Flexibility to support additional program locations if needed
Providing safe, engaging, and meaningful before- and after-school enrichment programs.
