About the Role
Chinar Group Contracting and Trading seeks a Part-Time Accountant in Doha. The role involves recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, reconciling bank statements, and supporting audits.

Responsibilities
- Record day to day financial transactions and maintain general ledger
- Maintain and update financial records including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
- Support month end and year end closing processes
- Support audits by providing required documents and schedules
- Monitor expenses and report any discrepancies
- Handle petty cash
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded
- Maintain and file accounting documents, invoices, contracts, and supporting records in an organized manner
- Support internal and external audit processes by preparing required schedules and documentation
- Perform any other accounting or administrative duties as assigned by the Manager
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent in Accounting or Finance
- 5 7 years of accounting experience in Construction or Similar field
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry and reporting
- Good communication skills in English & Hindi/Urdu
