Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Respond swiftly to emergency calls and assess critical illnesses and trauma scenes.
• Formulate immediate treatment plans.
• Administer medications, establish IV lines, provide ACLS, dress wounds, and manage fractures within the approved scope of practice.
• Use ventilators, EKGs, and defibrillators while monitoring vital signs en route.
• Liaise with hospital emergency departments for accurate clinical handovers.
• Safely drive and navigate emergency vehicles under Qatar traffic safety laws.
• Maintain accurate medical records and complete patient care reports.

Skills and Qualifications

• Typically requires at least 2 years of field experience in active emergency medical services.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and ITLS certifications are required.
• Must hold a valid DHP license, be eligible for one, or possess a DHP/QCHP license or approved evaluation for Qatar.
