Atlantis Dubai operates Atlantis, The Palm and Atlantis The Royal as part of Kerzner International.

The resorts employ colleagues across guest-facing, healthcare, safety, and back-of-house functions.

Role Overview

The Paramedic provides emergency and primary healthcare to resort guests, visitors, and colleagues.

The role also supports health and safety operations and programs for the resort and employee residences.

Medical Care and Emergency Response

  • Provide rapid intervention, incident management, emergency medical care, and primary and ongoing healthcare.
  • Support evacuation, triage, first aid, and paramedic duties under the Emergency Operations Plan.
  • Communicate patient condition and care information when referring patients for definitive care.
  • Provide psychological crisis intervention and basic psychological counseling.
  • Consult the designated medical director regarding patient care and treatment.

Health, Safety, and Administration

  • Prepare reports about medical and health and safety incidents.
  • Assist with occupational health and safety issues in coordination with relevant departments.
  • Maintain accurate patient care, medical, healthcare, and safety documentation.
  • Keep current with medical, health, and safety developments through continuing education.
  • Attend requested training, workshops, and meetings and follow company procedures.

Equipment and Training

  • Inspect and maintain medical and first-aid equipment and perform minor repairs when required.
  • Maintain clinic hygiene and check medicines and equipment in paramedic bags.
  • Prepare and present First Aid, CPR, and AED training to colleagues according to the resort format.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Five years of experience.
  • Paramedic or Advanced Paramedic qualification.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, administrative, customer-focus, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written English.
