The Glenview at Pelican Bay is a premier continuing care retirement community located in beautiful, sunny Naples, Florida.

We are currently considering candidates for a hospitality focused Pantry Cook.

Food Service candidates must have a desire to join a great team dedicated to providing outstanding and superior hospitality.

We currently have the following shifts available: Full-time

Pantry Cooks at The Glenview at Pelican Bay procure the finest ingredients preparing them with the utmost care to provide our residents with the ultimate in dining.

Pantry Cooks will assist our clients with services including but not limited to:

  • Label and date all food products. Be accountable for the freshness of all items in the pantry refrigerator and the cleanliness of the pantry area.
  • Usage of proper chemicals to maintain current food safety regulations.
  • Maintain minimum par levels on dressings, muffin mix, cut fruits and greens as directed by supervisors and production sheets.
  • Heed warning of CDM about food safety violations.
  • Does not discard any food without supervisor’s permission.
  • Continue to learn new techniques and recipes.

Skills And Qualifications

  • Must be able to speak English and communicate in English; high school diploma or GED; Collier County food handler certification.
  • Job-Related Skills/Knowledge: Knife handling, organizational skills, clear communication, adherence to recipes.
  • 12 months experience in similar capacity, cooking and handling temperatures and presenting fresh fruits and vegetables.
