Panel Technician Apprentice Essential Responsibilities include assisting with the following:

• Build Custom Industrial Panels and OEM products meeting delivery dates
• Work independently with the project folder and design schematics to complete your responsible job. Account for parts required for the job Mechanically layout and mount hardware components. Wire complete panel in accordance with PFT panel procedures, UL508A specifications, and other best practices as given by the panel shop supervisor.

• Mechanically layout and mount hardware components.
• Wire complete panel in accordance with PFT panel procedures, UL508A specifications, and other best practices as given by the panel shop supervisor.
• In large project situations work with other technicians in a team effort
• Test Custom Industrial Control Panels and OEM Products
• Point to Point wire tests in accordance with PFT testing procedures
• Torque check and marking in accordance with PFT procedures
• Be able to perform and fill out the PFT Panel Final Check list
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area at all times
• Organize and maintain shop tools and equipment
• Organize and maintain personal tools
• Organize and maintain your project items and materials
• Help maintain common shop supplies IE Labels, wire ties, wire, etc.
