Responsibilities
- Operate panel saw machines for cutting MDF, plywood, chipboard, and laminated panels.
- Read and interpret cutting lists, shop drawings, and production specifications.
- Measure, mark, and cut materials accurately according to the required dimensions.
- Ensure maximum material utilization and minimize wastage.
- Inspect finished cut panels for quality and dimensional accuracy.
- Perform routine machine setup, cleaning, and basic maintenance.
- Replace or report worn or damaged saw blades when necessary.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear the required PPE while operating machinery.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free from hazards.
- Coordinate with the production team to ensure timely completion of work orders.
- Report machine malfunctions or material defects to the supervisor immediately.
- Maintain daily production records and comply with company quality standards.
Requirements
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience operating a panel saw machine in a joinery or furniture manufacturing factory
- Experience cutting MDF, plywood, laminate boards, and other wood based materials
- Ability to read technical drawings and cutting lists
- Good knowledge of measuring tools and woodworking machinery
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically fit and able to handle wood panels safely

Job Summary
- The Panel Saw Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining panel saw machines to cut MDF, plywood, laminate boards, and other wood based materials according to production drawings and cutting lists.
