Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, filling cracks, and applying primers
- Apply paint, varnish, enamel, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment
- Perform interior and exterior painting works for residential, commercial, and retail properties
- Carry out touch up and repainting works during property maintenance and unit handovers
- Identify and repair minor wall defects, cracks, and surface damages before painting
- Ensure proper color matching and finish quality according to company standards
- Protect furniture, fixtures, and surrounding areas before commencing work
- Maintain painting tools, equipment, and materials in good condition
- Follow safety procedures at all times
- Coordinate with supervisors and maintenance teams to complete assigned tasks efficiently
- Report material requirements and work progress to the supervisor
Requirements
- Minimum 4 5 years of proven experience as a Painter in maintenance, construction, or facilities management
- Knowledge of different paint types, coatings, and application techniques
- Ability to prepare surfaces and perform high quality finishing works
- Familiarity with safety standards and proper use of painting equipment
- Physically fit and able to work at heights when required
- Basic communication skills in English; knowledge of Hindi/Urdu is an advantage
