We are seeking a skilled and experienced Painter to join our team.
The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in both hand painting and spray painting for joinery works, aluminium products, and metal structures.
The candidate should be capable of delivering high-quality finishing work while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform hand painting and spray painting on joinery, aluminium, and metal fabrication projects.
- Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, grinding, and masking.
- Apply putty, fillers, primers, and finishing coats to achieve smooth, high-quality finishes.
- Mix paints and coatings according to specifications and project requirements.
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain painting equipment, spray guns, and work areas in good condition.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and use appropriate PPE.
- Coordinate with production and installation teams to meet project deadlines.
Requirements
- Experience in decorative, industrial, or architectural painting.
- Proven experience in hand painting and spray painting.
- Experience working with joinery products, aluminium fabrication, and metal structures.
- Strong knowledge of surface preparation, putty application, sanding, priming, and finishing techniques.
- Ability to achieve high-quality finishes on various materials.
- Familiarity with different types of paints, coatings, and spray equipment.
- Ability to read and understand basic work instructions.
- Physically fit and able to work in a workshop environment.
- Knowledge of paint mixing ratios and colour matching.
